- What are my options for an accelerator for my A3000?
-
- It has the standard 68030/25MHz that came with it, is this a chip/board
- that I can simply replace, or do I need a separate accelerator board? If
- I need a separate board, are there ones that also let you add 32-bit RAM
- chips (SIMMS, etc.) to it for increasing Fast RAM (seems GVP was good at
- making multi-purpose boards like this...)?
-
- Also, do I have to replace any other chips in the A3000 if/when I upgrade
- to another accelerator?
-
- I can't remember where I wrote it down, but it seems to me there was a
- label inside or on the back of my A3000 that said something like the
- following...
-
- "A3000 25/50..." (can't remember what else)
-
- Does this mean there is some way of speeding up my A3000 to run at 50 MHz?
-
- Thanks.
